Licensed facilities across Metro Atlanta.

Georgia facilities are licensed by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH), Healthcare Facility Regulation Division (HFRD). Georgia licenses two distinct community-care types: Personal Care Homes (PCH) under Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-62, and Assisted Living Communities (ALC) — created by O.C.G.A. § 31-2-7 and licensed under 111-8-63 — offering a higher level of hands-on care than a PCH. ALCs (and some PCHs) may carry a certified Memory Care Center designation under 111-8-63, and nursing homes are licensed as Skilled Nursing Facilities under Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-56 (verify at the Georgia DCH/HFRD facility search). Medicaid long-term care support is delivered through Georgia's Community Care Services Program (CCSP) waiver and the SOURCE Medicaid HCBS program. Neither program pays for PCH/ALC room and board.
